Delete your HeyIro account

This page explains how to delete your account in HeyIro (the Iro emotion journal app for iOS, Android, and the web), published by Kirill Shumilov LTDA, and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

In the app (iPhone or Android): open Settings → Account → Delete account, type the confirmation word, and confirm.

On the web, without the app: sign in at app.heyiro.com, then open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm.

If you can't sign in: email privacy@heyiro.com from the address you registered with, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.

Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store, Google Play, or our website. Cancel it there first, so you are not charged again.

What we delete

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your account and everything tied to it: your profile and questionnaire answers, journal entries and their transcripts, conversations with Iro, the people and groups you added, tasks, goals, summaries, tasks of the day, reports you sent about AI-generated text, notification tokens, how you found us (campaign tags), and your subscription record — including the purchase history held by our subscription-management provider.

To remove only some data instead, delete individual entries, people, or tasks in the app — the rest of your account stays.

What we keep

We don't store your voice recordings ourselves: our speech-to-text provider deletes each one once it is transcribed, and an interrupted one within its standard retention period (see the Privacy Policy, Section 1.1).
